Generate CSV Template

The first step in bulk uploading treatments is to generate a CSV template tailored to your specific treatment type and requirements.

A CSV template is a pre-formatted spreadsheet with the correct column headers based on your treatment type and languages, which you can fill in with your treatment data.

Accessing Template Generation​

  1. Navigate to Manage → Treatments → Bulk Upload
  2. You'll see the Generate Template tab (default view)

Template Configuration​

You can configure the template with the following options:

Required Fields​

  • Treatment Type

    • Description: Select the treatment type that will be used for all treatments in this CSV file
    • Example: POPUP_BANNER
    • Note: All treatments in a single CSV file must be of the same treatment type

  • Languages

    • Description: Select one or more languages for content fields
    • Example: English, Japanese, French
    • How it works:
      • Language-specific content fields will be generated for each selected language
      • For example, if you select English and Japanese, columns like title_en, title_ja, body_en, body_ja will be generated

  • Qualification Criteria Count

    • Description: Specify the number of Qualification Criteria columns to include in the template
    • Default: 0
    • How it works:

      • This determines the maximum number of qualification criteria any single treatment in this CSV file can have

      • Each Qualification Criteria (numbered 1, 2, 3, etc.) generates 4 columns:

        • Qualification field N
        • Qualification condition N
        • Qualification value N
        • Apply qualification N if attribute not available

        Where N is the number (1, 2, 3, etc.)

    • Example: If you select 5, the template will include columns for Qualification Criteria 1 through 5 (20 columns total)
    • Note: Unused Qualification Criteria columns can be left empty in the CSV file

Next Steps​

After generating the template:

  1. Download and Save: Save the template to a location you can easily find
  2. Fill Out the CSV: Add your treatment data
  3. Validate and Upload: Move to the Upload and Validate tab
